Mr Robot and lower quadrant framing

I began watching Mr Robot after a recommendation from my younger brother, who was an avid fan. Despite it exploring themes that should appeal to me I never stayed with it, abandoning viewing after season 2. While not impressed by the narrative, I loved the cinematography and the use of lower quadrant framing. Lower quadrant framing is effective in creating a feeling of uneasiness, with audiences used to the more conventional rule of thirds. The use of lower quadrant framing within the show is bold, disconcerting, and an entirely appropriate choice.
